Today, the Department of Precious Metals under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic hosted a meeting with the institution’s honoured guests — the veterans of the Department. During the meeting, they became acquainted with the work of the agency.
As part of the meeting, detailed information was provided on the Department’s current activities, its future plans and key objectives. The veterans highly praised the work being carried out and noted its important role in developing the country’s economy. The guests also visited the exhibition hall of the “Turan” association and became acquainted with the works of Kyrgyz jewellers and folk craftsmen. The event was attended by students of the S. Chokmorov Lyceum, representatives of the “Turan” association and masters of decorative and applied art. In addition, the veterans learned about the work of the precious stone faceting workshop and viewed the State Fund of Precious Metals and Precious Stones.
At the close of the meeting, the Director of the Department, A.A. Kadyrakunov, expressed his deep gratitude to the veterans for their many years of dedicated service and their significant contribution to the development of the institution, noting that their experience and work form a solid foundation for today’s achievements. Such meetings help strengthen the bond between generations, exchange experience and deepen respect for the institution’s history.
