From June 25 to June 27, 2026, a delegation of the Department of Precious Metals under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, led by the Director of the Department A.A. Kadyrakunov, made a working visit to the mining enterprises in the Chatkal and Ala-Buka districts of the Jalal-Abad region.
During the visit, representatives of the Department visited three gold mining enterprises, familiarized themselves with the organization of the production process — from ore extraction to beneficiation and obtaining the concentrate — and inspected the quarries and production facilities.
The visit was of a familiarization nature and was aimed at strengthening interaction with subsoil users, as well as studying the current activities of industry enterprises on site. The high level of technical equipment and the significant volume of investments made in the development of production and job creation in the region were noted.
Following the visit, the Director of the Department, A.A. Kadyrakunov, noted the importance of direct interaction with industry enterprises and emphasized that the Department will continue to work on developing constructive cooperation with gold mining enterprises in the interests of strengthening the potential of precious metals as a national asset of the Kyrgyz Republic.
